For five consecutive days, the Singapore Ballet Academy will be holding a workshop combining classical ballet, jazz, contemporary dance and musical theatre. Expect a fun-filled session that will take your performance a step further and nearer to fulfilling your solo dreams. Workshops are conducted by SBA faculty and guest instructors.

Senior Lecturer (Dance) at NAFA 

His professional career in Dance and the Performing Arts spans 20 years globally. He has also danced for many international dance companies, including the Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Company Chicago and worked with international choreographers like Randy Duncan, Jon Lehrer, Davis Robertson, Eddy Ocampo, Natalie Weir and Csaba Buday.

CONTEMPORARY 

Conducted by: YARRA ILETO

As one of the pioneering members of T.H.E Dance Company (2008 – 2015), Yarra Ileto has toured and performed extensively in both the Asian and European regions. A graduate of the prestigious LaSalle College of the Arts (Performing Arts, Dance), she also freelances as a dance artist, choreographer and instructor. She previously trained in classical ballet at the Canberra Youth Ballet School.

MUSICAL THEATRE 

Conducted by: MELISSA GAN 

Melissa Gan was the Assistant Dance Coach for the musical ‘Annie The Musical’ and ‘Santa Clause the Musical’ from 2012 to 2013. She also conducted musical theatre workshops for prestigious schools like SCGS and MGS. She is a graduate of LaSalle College of the Arts (Musical Theatre).
