Led by SBA Principal Mr. Han Kee Juan, SBA faculty members, and other distinguished guest instructors, the SBA Dance Masterclass Series is a 5-day workshop designed to elevate students’ artistry through engaging classes in various dance genres and performances.

This workshop is suitable for students in RAD Grade 2 and above, or those at an equivalent level of other dance accreditations. Participants will explore dance pieces over the five days and work towards a presentation for family and friends on the final day.

In line with Singapore Ballet’s year-end season, this year’s ballet repertoire theme will be Swan Lake. Elements from this timeless classic will be incorporated into the workshop.

This year, we are particularly excited to introduce a new programme led by Mr. Han, who has been honoured as “Teacher of Men” by the Dance Teacher magazine (USA). The newly added Pas De Deux and Men’s Ballet Technique Class will be part of the Advanced level category.

Additionally, an optional performance excursion is available for workshop participants and their family members to watch Swan Lake by Singapore Ballet on 14 December 2024.
