Xin Ling started teaching the RAD syllabus at the age of 16 and had produced exemplary results before joining Cheng Ballet Academy after 4 years.
At Cheng Ballet, she was exposed to different methodologies of ballet and taught syllabuses influenced by the Vaganova style, French style and also Balanchine. Throughout her career, she took part in the staging of many full-length ballet, including The Nutcracker, La Bayadere, Giselle, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Coppelia, Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake and Paquita.
Xin Ling also had the opportunity to visit the prestigious Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet thrice for teacher’s course. There she learnt the well esteemed Vaganova method under revered professors like Irina Badaeva and Tatiana Cherkashina.
Xin Ling believes that all students who have the heart can be taught the beauty and discipline of this art form.
