Yu Qi began her ballet journey at the age of four and has since developed a strong foundation in classical ballet. At 13, she joined the Singapore Ballet Academy (SBA), where she was selected to train under Mr Han’s intensive programme for five years. During this time, she also successfully completed all Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) examinations up to Advanced 2 level, achieving exemplary results.

During her training, Yu Qi also performed in Singapore Ballet’s (formerly Singapore Dance Theatre) Celebration in Dance, representing the academy in Sailor’s Bay.

Passionate about dance pedagogy, Yu Qi has spent the last few years understudying and teaching ballet to children. She is dedicated to creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students can develop strong technique, build confidence, and experience the joy of dance.
